God’s Agape Love

My friend, obedience is the key to unlocking the next miracle that God has for your life. But think of this, when we are disobedient to God’s word what does He do? He still loves us! God’s love is everlasting despite the things we do, and it is the most authentic love you will ever feel in your life. No. This is not a pass to live in sin, but this is to say that when you turn to true repentance (never going back to the thing you asked forgiveness from), His word declares He will restore you and heal your land. This teaches us that we should walk in the same pure love, and reciprocate it on the earth. When you walk in Agape love, it gives you a peace that surpasses all understanding. It will make you sing when there is nothing to sing about. It will make you smile when you think of His goodness! We should all strive to have this love in our hearts; we should have the Corinthians 13:4-8 love!

Love is very patient and kind, never jealous or envious, never boastful or proud, never haughty or selfish or rude. Love does not demand its own way. It is not irritable or touchy. It does not hold grudges and will hardly even notice when others do it wrong. It is never glad about injustice, but rejoices whenever truth wins out. If you love someone, you will be loyal to him no matter what the cost. You will always believe in him, always expect the best of him, and always stand your ground in defending him.All the special gifts and powers from God will someday come to an end, but love goes on forever. Someday prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge—these gifts will disappear.”

Love sounds perfect, doesn’t it? God’s love does not come with a condition. God has agape love towards us despite our mishaps, mistakes, or short comings. He loves all of us no matter of our sin (but again it doesn’t make our sin right). God’s love is so great, and I want you to feel the impact of it. If you had an only son, and say a family member was being convicted of a crime that would cause a death sentence. Would you give your son in proxy of that family member to serve the death sentence? I can hear your thoughts, “That’s crazy!”. Well God did! He sent his son to save us from an eternal damnation, and gave us a second chance. He loved us so much that John 3:16 says he sent his one and only son. He knew we would fall into sin so He sent His Son Jesus just so we can continue to have a relationship with him. When hat kind of love is this!? This is agape love. It’s unselfish. It has no conditions. It’s forgiving. It’s amazing.

Until next time my friend, be blessed.
