You have Power and Authority!

Matthew 18:18

18 “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

Can you imagine going to church day in and day out without ever experiencing the power and authority given by God? It sounds absurd but truthfully this is so many people’s reality. The church is the ecclesia of God where people gather in His name, so why are there so many lifeless churches? It’s because the Power of God is not there even while people gather. I’ve found out that the Power of God has nothing to do with a crowd. The cloud of God–His glory, doesn’t need a crowd to manifest.

In Matthew 18:19 it says,

“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”

This scripture tells us right here that it only takes two to come into agreement, not an entire crowd. So, what exactly is this power and authority that we have? Matthew 18:18 says “Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” God has placed His power in earthly vessels and that’s you and me. When you come into agreement with the Word of God and begin to live these scriptures; you will activate The Word in your life. So, if God gave you the power to bind the devil, you bind him here on earth and Jesus binds him in heaven because you came into agreement with the Word of God. Heaven backs you up when you operate in the power and authority that’s been given to you!

All things are possible! I don’t know what you need; I don’t know what you are going through, but all things possible to him that believes. Do you believe? Then it is a possibility!

But again, it is only a possibility if you believe. God gave you the promise, the power, and the authority but you must activate it through and by faith. You can choose to put your trust in someone else or you can choose to trust in God by believing His word. Your faith intertwines with His ability to do more for you than you can do for yourself! That is why the book of Mark said all things are possible to him that believes. Hold onto the Word of God my friend, it is your power, your authority, and your strength. It’s time for you to walk in the promises of God but you have a part to do—you must believe!

Until next time my friend,

Bishop Clarence Langston
