Be Empowered!

This word that God has given me is going to empower you. It’s going to empower you to do what God has called you to do. I don’t know about you but I am tired of the devil trying to reap havoc in my life. I am tired of him fighting me. I am tired of him fighting my love ones. I am tired of him fighting my friends. I am tired of him fighting the people that I care about. I am tired of him fighting God’s people and I am tired of us not using our power to stop him. Power means delegated authority; authority granted to a person or persons in an office or capacity. So, I need you to understand that God has given us as believers a level of spiritual authority. The enemy knows that you have power. Many of us don’t realize the power that we have and we don’t know how to operate in it. The power that we have comes through and by the person of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus told us in the books of Acts that the Holy Spirit would be sent to us. He sent the Holy Spirit to help us! The same power and authority Jesus walked in have been given to us. I am so thankful that God has given us His power to do His work.

Is there a work that God has placed in your heart? Call on the Holy Spirit to empower you. God does not intend for us to do these things alone. He expects us to be dependent on Him and that is why He sent His Spirit. The Holy Spirit is so mighty and powerful but it is our responsibility as believers to trust in Him. Be encouraged! Be empowered! And walk in the power and authority given to you by your Heavenly Father!

Jesus overcame sin and conquered death through and by the Holy Spirit. Sin is to be outside of the purpose in which God and it depletes our power. So, the enemy’s only desires are to kill, steal, and destroy. He wants your purpose, power, and your authority. He wants to steal these things from you because he knows how powerful you’ll be once you start using it. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit will support you as you move in a dimension of power released from Heaven; through and by the Holy Spirit. I want everything God has for me and I want to use my power and authority to glorify God. I know you do also so today be empowered through and by the Holy Spirit!

Until next time my friend,
